Membership & Get Involved

Membership Categories

Founder Members

Individuals who took the initiative to establish the Organization and are recorded in the Register of Members.

Ordinary Members

Individuals admitted after establishment, subject to eligibility criteria and Board of Directors approval.

Honorary Members

Conferred upon individuals who have rendered distinguished service in community development or medical work. Limited to one per calendar year.

Associate Members

Non-profit institutions engaged in development activities, subject to approval by the Board of Directors.

Requirements

30+ Years of Age

Membership is voluntary for individuals aged 30+ willing to support TECHSO’s objectives.

Sound Mind & Conduct

Members must be of sound mind, uphold good conduct, and adhere to the constitution.

Commitment to Mission

Applicants subscribe to TECHSO’s advocacy, empowerment, and technology-driven health agenda.

Board Admission

All categories, including associate institutions, require approval from the Board of Directors.

Member Rights

Full Participation

Founder & ordinary members attend meetings, vote, inspect records, and stand for leadership.

Training & Advocacy

Members access capacity-building, contribute to advocacy, and help mobilize health resources.

Ambassadorial Role

Associate & honorary members support initiatives, share funding leads, and promote TECHSO’s image.

Governance Structure

General Meeting

The highest decision-making body of TECHSO

Board of Directors

Oversees the strategic direction and governance of the organization

Secretariat

Manages day-to-day operations and implementation of programs

Board of Directors

Chairperson

Presides over General Meetings, serves as official spokesperson, protects member interests, oversees daily activities, and serves as bank account signatory.

Vice Chairperson

Supports the Chairperson and assumes duties in their absence, elected by General Meeting from among Board Members.

Executive Secretary

Calls meetings, arranges office schedules, prepares reports, serves as bank signatory, keeps official documents, processes membership applications, and maintains asset records.

Treasurer

Receives and safeguards funds, prepares budgets, controls day-to-day finances, maintains financial records, prepares statements, and serves as bank account signatory.

Coordinator

Coordinates organizational activities and programs, ensuring effective implementation of TECHSO's objectives and initiatives.

3 Additional Board Members

Appointed by General Meeting to serve on the Board of Directors, contributing to strategic decision-making and governance.
